It is rather annoying to spend your precious money or Legacy Points on a piece of cloth or fancy hue, only to realise, that the outcome is quite different what what you've expected. There's no way to preview clothing (aside from looking at others, but you cannot take this method for granted) without buying it first. Hues showed in the menus seem to look slightly different on other pieces than shirts/leather armor/platemail (as seen on "mannequins") and it's even more apparent for paperdoll.

As a game in which character customisation plays a significant role, I'd like to suggest a preview option for the above (wearables, hues, hairstyles, skin tones), similar to World of Warcraft's dressing room.

Yes and double yes! Like the floppy hat if I dyed it dark red it still looks black on the paperdoll, then I dyed it light bronze and it looked like dark red on the paperdoll while it looked like bronze in the game view.

Absolutely! Many tailoring products come with either a white or grey hue, which drastically changes the chosen dye. Same with special hair dyes - you can tell very little from a bottle of dye, especially when the colors also vary quite a bit depending on the texture of your hairstyle. Some are sleek and smooth, some are one-dimensional. Armor applies too. Something to look into!
