Jibril Van Der Veen

Do you have any prior experience with Requiem? If so, please detail when (and what characters, if desired) you previously played:
Indeed I've had the pleasure to be acquainted with the plagues and witch-hunts of Requiem UO, both as the witch to be burned at a bonfire as well as a witness watching it.

Briefly summarize your prior role-playing experience in a sentence or two:
I have a plenty of experience in other immersive role-playing games as well in addition to the major RP shards of Ultima Online's history, such as D&D, Pathfinder, Shadowrun, Dark Heresy, etc. You name it.

What will your character’s name be?: Jibril Van Der Veen

Please briefly describe the physical attributes of your character, including age, looks, height, weight and any notable features:
She is a young lady of rather petite stature standing at barely 5 feet upright. Nonetheless her bearing is hardened with determination; the gaze of the amber eyes won't shy away even when confronted by those twice as tall as her.

Briefly state your character’s intentions or motivations for entering the First Province:
Scribe, tinker and a warrior; Jibril as seen many facets of life in the time she has spent on these lands. By the will of fate she has been unable to settle and has been forced to adapt to whatever circumstances the next day brings. She was adopted as an orphan by a doctor of the Venerated Apothecary Corps, and following her mentor's untimely death caused by a disease she became a thief and a mercenary, eventually taking up on a failed commission that ended in a slaughter on her behalf. In order to avoid the consequences she forged a visa of her own with the experience given by the background and set her destination towards the First province.

Briefly write an in-character response to the (following) scenario:
"What a mess..."
Jibril thought to herself finally arriving at the Rumbling pass checkpoint. A heavy weight was immediately lifted from her shoulders as she observed the officiant.
"He is even more of a bandit than I am."
She proceeded to hand over her forged quarantine visa, and slipped a pouch of gold coins to help with handling the paperwork.

Congratulations, adventurer. Your application is...

Approved.

Please ensure that your character name is spelled correctly upon exiting the Songmaker's chambers. A GM will approve your character at their earliest convenience.

Welcome to Requiem!
