A short, waifish woman. She appears relatively young with an untamed look in her eyes. While there are occasional slips, her hygiene and attire have improved somewhat over the last few years.

Erna came to the First Province in order to study Aiwella in pursuit of magical secrets.
Briefly provide the pertinent details of your character’s history:
- Born to a pagan family in a fishing town near Teramer.
- Heavily implied to be responsible for the death of her family due to a possession incident, though the story has been lost to ravages of time and forum incidents.
- Has spent a fair bit of time unearthing occult knowledge in order to bring mostly unjust vengeance upon pagan spirit and p-possibly practitioners. Her search of knowledge has brought her to Eastern Baronies and, more recently, to the First Province. She believes there are hitherto uncovered secrets to be found there.
Briefly write an in-character response to the following scenario:
Erna thought to use a writ won through favors and manners refined among the educated and often noble occultists of the Eastern Baronies to pass through the checkpoint. All in all, her meagre possessions combined with a distaste for spectacle made her just another face in the line.
It was a dark and rainy evening like any other. The runt of a woman had not been able to secure a favorable spot in the line. Not that it was much of an issue, she thought. The First Providence is not precisely what she would call a lovely place to visit or stay at. It would not take long.
She might have been right if the officiant was more officious about making the line move. The person who was currently speaking with the officiant was being ridiculed. Erna did not quite make out the details and in truth her mind was elsewhere. Never a quiet moment, she told herself - not to comment on the lethargic line of people before her, but in order to think of anything except where her thoughts drifted naturally when they were given a moment to reflect. That uncharted part of her mind was as uninviting as it was tumultuous.
"Are you deaf, girl?"
No. Erna shook her head quietly, and the fog that clouded her sight gave way to the somewhat agitating figure of the officiant standing in front of her. Slowly, her sleek fingers reached for a pocket where they touched damp parchment. The young woman did not utter a word as she presented her Visa, approved in Kylpy Kalastaa in Arkhess, to the officiant.
"Deaf and mute? Well, I can see you will do just wonderfully."
Erna shook her head, but the motion was barely perceptible.
