Because Requiem is awesome, and my previous character is dead. I certainly don't expect the shard to bring me back from the dead.Briefly summarize your prior role-playing experience in a sentence or two:
Why do you wish to play on Requiem, and what do you expect from the shard?
Franklin AzarWhat will your character’s name be?:
Franklin is a strikingly handsome man, but his eyes are shifty. He is in his late 20s and of average height. He is a little underweight and not muscular at all. He comes to the First Province to build a new life, away from the watchful eyes of the law.Briefly state your character’s intentions or motivations for entering the First Province:
Franklin deals in alchemical products of the illegal variety and is quite good at it. His knowledge of the streets keeps him aware of his surroundings at all times. Hefty bribes were paid and exile was a part of the deal.Briefly provide a pertinent detail or notable quality of your character’s history (this does not have to be exhaustive nor revealing of any information you wish to keep secret):
On his journey to the Rumbling Pass Franklin had made a quick stop in the swamps to harvest some mushrooms that he could trade for dinner that evening. When he was doing so, he spotted a frog which he knew immediately to be of the "semi-toxic" variety. It was a rarity and a treat in these parts. Licking the skin of this creature had powerful and euphoric effects that often rendered users immobile. He quickly captured the frog and removed it's guts with his thumb as is the traditional preparation of this delicacy, lest the guts fester and rot. A single frog could provide many nights of enjoyment once properly prepared and stored.Briefly write an in-character response to the following scenario:
As he walks up to the podium, Franklin closely examines the official. He knows a junky when he sees one. The telltale bloodshot eyes and the exposed needle marks on their arms. Yes. This official is definitely one of them.
A smirk crossed Franklin's face as he reached for the wad of moist parchment in his pocket. He placed it on the the table and stepped slightly to the side to block the view of a legionnaire positioned behind him. "I would just like to pass if you do not mind," Franklin said, as the official began unwrapping the parchment. The head of the frog greeted the official who turned and gave him a knowing look. It was obvious that the official knew exactly what was wrapped up on the table before him.
"What say you?" Franklin asked.
