The Crimson Monk

Chatter and disgust fill those mouths of town guard and citizens that bared witness to the gruesome scene,

As darkness set upon the Fort through the glimpse of the lights a monk in all blacks flopped with the horse's movement riding into town. Blood and puke dripping from his robes soaking the horse and the ground beneath him. He crawled through the gates with tears and blood covering his face. A large man came to his aid helping him to his feet and dragging the almost lifeless monk to the hospital. Leaving a crimson path as he moved and stumbled with aid. The monk mumbling repeatedly "Lord Decus have mercy on my attacker as his passion are deep". From outside the hospital screams of pain and cries could be heard till silence filled the air. The large man departed with blood smears and sadness on his heart.

After time passed and the flame brought day upon the fort. A stumbling blood and puke covered monk appeared from the hospital. Mumbling prayers he dragged his fleshly body forward heading to the church. Falling before the altar in his frail state he cried and prayed. As he lost and regained consciousness prayers could be heard repeatedly. Any who bared witness departed not knowing what to do with the gruesome scene before them.

As time passed, he could be seen again being carried from the church dripping blood to seek care. The crimson trail of drops lead back to the hospital. As word spreads it is Hieromonk Otis' near lifeless corpse. A few visitors have been seen coming and going from the hospital. Cries and prayers echo off the doors.
