CHARACTER QUESTIONS
What will your character’s name be?

Arnaa

Please briefly describe the physical attributes of your character, including age, looks, height, weight and any notable features:
Arnaa is a woman in her early thirties. Her ash brown hair, cascading down her shoulders, is usually braided for comfort, though more often than not, a few stray strands frame her face in a wild manner. She has striking fox-shaped eyes, which gleam with both intelligence and threat, reflecting the untamed wilderness she comes from. She has a barely noticeable scar near her lips and bears small tribal geometrically-shaped tattoos on her chin and under her left eye. Each mark carries significance, telling the story of her connection to the ancient traditions of her people and the untold tales woven into the fabric of her existence. She has surprisingly fair skin and is relatively short, around 5’2’’, with toned muscles. Her lithe figure moves with grace and caution that speak of a life spent navigating the dense foliage of her homeland.

Briefly state your character’s intentions or motivations for entering the First Province:
She, along with a few others, was sent there on a mission by the tribe council to find a cure for the Torment.
Please provide a few short paragraphs with pertinent details or notable qualities of your character’s history. This does not have to be exhaustive nor revealing of any information you wish to keep secret:
Arnaa hails from the distant Amawrak Rainforest of Murandesh. She, like many of her tribesmen, embraced the teachings of her tribe navigating the ways of the wilderness and forming a connection to the land that was not merely physical; it was a symbiotic relationship, a dance of survival and harmony. Growing up amidst the vibrant foliage, she found solace and fascination in studying the world around her, becoming adept in the knowledge of herbs and their uses.
During one of her extended journeys through the dense undergrowth, she encountered a man of a different tribe, a half-blood, to be precise, born of a union between a Murandai and an outsider. The unique blend of features and perspectives of the man was like a rare bloom in the rainforest, alluring and fascinating. Soon, she fell in love. Their union opened her eyes to the unfamiliar lands beyond Murandesh.
However, from these lands a darkness loomed – the Torment, or “outlanders curse”, as her people called it. The plague began to encroach upon Arnaa’s homeland. Alarmed by the ominous turn of events, a few Amawrak tribes joined together, and a council decided to send a select group on a dangerous mission to seek a cure.
Arnaa and her companion, knowing that they are uniquely equipped for this quest and driven by a desire to protect their homeland and future, volunteered to embark on this treacherous journey. They travelled with the group far beyond the familiar rainforest, navigating through unknown territories until they reached the First Province, where they hope to unravel the mysteries of the Torment and unearth the cure that could save Murandesh from its grip.

Please write a few short paragraphs of an in-character response to the following scenario:
(…)Gathering your wits, you step forward towards the officiant, and make your decision as to how to gain access to the First Province.
Not wanting to raise suspicion, members of the group approached the outpost separately. The pair proceeded towards the officiant, anxiety tightening their expressions. The officiant scrutinized the counterfeit visas, his gaze lingering on the details. Rising his eyes, suspicion etched across his face, he addressed them with a probing tone. "Terhan and... your wife Arnaa, is it?" The man, sensing the tension, discreetly slipped a handful of coins into the officiant's palm. "We only seek passage. No trouble," he muttered, his voice carrying the weight of urgency. The officiant eyed the coins with a momentary hesitation, but finally let a knowing smile surface. With a nod, he returned the forged papers and slipped the exchanged coins into a hidden pocket, granting the pair passage into the ominous Quarantined Zone.
