What will your character’s name be?

Nym Estralya


Please briefly describe the physical attributes of your character, including age, looks, height, weight and any notable features:

Nym is an 18 year old woman with long, wavy red hair (what is sometimes really messy, when she has a bad hair day). She is of average build with little muscles. Bright green eyes are scanning the surroundings carefully, if you are happy, you might catch a shy smile of her.


Please provide a few short paragraphs with pertinent details or notable qualities of your character’s history. This does not have to be exhaustive nor revealing of any information you wish to keep secret:

As a street orchin, Nym hasnt much of a clue who her parents are. If you ask her, she probebly only answers "The streets of Greatport".
As a street urchin, you take every opportunity to earn your next meal or steal it, but that is frowned upon. When you are caught the first time, you get a good beating, the second time, you might lose a hand.
Nym never was very good in stealing things, thats why she had many jobs in her relatively short live. As farm helper, shephard, tailor's doll and so on.

One day, she was close to starving because she hadnt found any job lately, she was lucky. A travelling merchant namen Kumar saw something in her not even herself did see and took her in. A whole different live it was! Never again, she had to go sleep hungry or thirsty. She had clean clothes, a warm bath. It was fantastic.
However the merchant didnt just take her in because he was a good human. She learned to calculate, reading and writing, to form contracts with customers, haggling. She couldnt wish more of her young life.
When the time came and Kumar got old and lastly died, she did overtake his caravan of 13 camels and did travel with them through the dessert of the midland, always looking for a greater furtune.
This time, it was bad luck she had. A great sandstorm surprised her and the caravan leaving only herself in the middle of nowhere. As she reached Greatport after days without food, she had lost everything.
Then she came about a perchment, advertising the reclaiming of the first province. They did offer enough coins to dare a new start in the first province.

Briefly state your character’s intentions or motivations for entering the First Province:

After Nym lost everything she had earned in her life, she came across a parchment advrtising the reclamation of the first province. They did over enough coins to dare a new start and so she decided to try a new start there. Once she got her visa and meager belongings what she bought from the coins she had earned in the meantime, the goal was set: Fort Praesidium in the First Province.

Scenario Response:

Finally she came of the train, what was overpacked with humans and theit belongings alike, all looking for a new start. As she stepped out of the train, she noticed no one else did. Probably because of the Quarantee zone. Most do noz live long in the first Province, she heard. But she never thought, she would live long enough to see the next day. As street urchin, she always did expect to wake from a knife in her back. As an aspiting merchant, it got better, but she couldnt get totally rid of the feeling.
She did shake her head and took in the surroundings. The refugees camp was relatively big compared to what less inhabitants was here. Yet it was only a quick stop on the way in the Province. She stepped through the first gate, leading to the campsite. Many tents were set up there, the cloth of it ranged from a good quality to threadbare.
First one was obvisously of the officials of this camp while the later was this of the refugeees. She lined in a queue of refugees leading to the last medical examination.
Omce she stepped out of the doctors tent, she wasgiven a provisition check.She choose a waterskin at the provition shop and headed to big queue, wating for entry in the First Province.
After, what felt like a eternity, it finally as her turn and she stepped at the low table a annoyed officier was sitting: "Lets make it quick, nearly lunch break!", the officer bellowed.
Nym gave a shrug and produced her official visa on the table "I am here to start a new life.". The officer gave her visa superficial glance and nodded along "Hah, a new life? You should have better stayed at home....well not my problem." He waved her further.
