Application for Lucius Tenebrus

Do you have any prior experience with Requiem? If so, please detail when (and what characters, if desired) you previously played: Yes, I’ve played a few different iterations of Req beginning in Act III. Most recently I have played Alphonse, the late Inquisitor Albus Black, Grigor, and the poor repor...

Re: New player indicators

Great suggestion. Isn't this also what gatekeepers do to help new players understand the scene?

Re: Does anyone actually feel mages are oppressed?

I guess I am a little confused. I had thought this thread was more so geared to the feel of the shard and not so much on the mechanics side. Having delved deep into the crafting system here, I would say it is far too early to compare what people would consider 'endgame' crafting (i.e. the last gear ...

Re: Does anyone actually feel mages are oppressed?

Great discussion thread here! I would like to add a few points on both sides. 1) I definitely appreciate Controll's point about not solely relying on the GMs to enforce public feelings regarding magic and mages as it can be inherently toxic to the relationships the GMs need to maintain with the enti...

Re: Shield Wall

Yes, finesse no longer affects stam regen(only linked to dex), raging no longer impacts hp regen (now str), and there is no more arcane conditioning (mana regen is linked to int).

The bear of a man pulls the note off the wall and gives it a once over before heading to the Hearth and Hale.

Re: Remove spellcasting checks from confidence and evasion

Great points, as for the last one, I think we are talking past each other. I use parry a lot. When fighting creatures that stun or cast hold and start evasion/confidence and it is interrupted, I have to wait the full 20 seconds from the time I initiated it until I can "cast" again which is...

Re: Remove spellcasting checks from confidence and evasion

Unlike other abilities, these last a long time and are not special weapon moves. Historically evasion was under the finesse tree and that is why you don't see other things like confidence and evasion in different stratagem trees. I would contend that the bigger issue isn't it being interrupted but i...

The Western Whirlwind

Those Early Years The giant of man was not always so, in fact Grigor was once a small lad, frail and endearing in the way that only an adventurous spirit trapped within a runt-frame might be. Those early years in the caravan were rich in song and dance and tradition and story, even if the Family wa...
