yeah I just realized every spell have the same requirement of linguistics to research and cast so this is probably a mistake.

I don't know if it's intential or not but to me it look like a mistake... Ventus Parvos Res is one of the 2 spell that is available for research by default in the spellcrafting menu for paganism. I suspose it's the low level damage damage spell for paganism (aka fireball or lightning for other schoo...

See image, some spellbooks option need recipe to make... but it seem you cannot research them... (even if they are uncommon recipe.)

I managed to get one, which was a NPC drop recipe... kinda lucky.

I agreed. So many recipe are locked by rare/hard to get ingredients...
