A merry lass hops around the busy market streets, a brand new dress folded neatly over protective forearms. The glee in her eyes gives way to listlessness and then utter despair as she goes from booth to booth and, as cruel Fate has it, no merchant is able to sell the girl a clothing dye tub to fulfill her first ball's wishes.
She gazes despondently at the coins in her hand, tears streaming down her cheeks as she recollects her mother providing most of the year's savings so she could pretend she was a princess, just for a night. Imagine having no color left and be forced to dance in a petite, embroidered dress with no choice but that dull gray! Woe is her!

As luck would have it, The Reticent Ravin, located on Backstreet just south of the Meddler's Risk, offers a free dye tub and dyes for the use of all in the shop. It is also said that the seamstress, Graelynn de Ravin, or her sister, Nicolien de Ravin, can provide the season's latest colors for an additional price.
