When we last left off with Barnabas, he was tinkering with golems. Following a found schematic, he's been making incremental progress over the year. At the moment however, he has hit a dead end. Additional data is required in order to make a fully functioning golem.
For the moment, he's set aside his tinkerings to delve back into exploring the First Coast. Mostly he sticks to rummaging around Aiwella, going through old logs and papers scattered throughout the monastery. Nothing with a promising lead has turned up. This is extremely frustrating for Barnabas as his advanced years continue to creep up on him. Time is running out and he is eager to fulfill his dream: create a mechanical army to combat the Tormented and afflicted.
