Tertiary Character: Ida Murasaki

Do you have any prior experience with Requiem? If so, please detail when (and what characters, if desired) you previously played:
Act 6, mostly as Viola Wandren. Also occasionally as Fran Brugges.

Briefly summarize your prior role-playing experience in a sentence or two:
Casual roleplayer over 10 years on various forums and chat servers, etcetra.

Why do you wish to play on Requiem, and what do you expect from the shard?
Kent suggested a number of things for my third character.

What will your character’s name be?:
Ida Murasaki

Please briefly describe the physical attributes of your character, including age, looks, height, weight and any notable features:
Ida is a ridiculously gorgeous woman in her late 20s, with long neatly brushed dark curls and dark eyes. She insists on dressing in masculine clothing for reasons she'd rather keep to herself.

Ida is quite thin with fairly long legs.

Briefly state your character’s intentions or motivations for entering the First Province:
She wants to set up a place for budding mixologists to work at. On the side, she wants to find proof of her direct relationship to her extinct parish in Drolund.

Briefly provide a pertinent detail or notable quality of your character’s history (this does not have to be exhaustive nor revealing of any information you wish to keep secret):
Ida Murasaki is a name she chose as mixologist. How she ended up being one was a fairly long story.

She's an illegitimate daughter of the Lyonesse parish in Drolund. Her prelate uncle took her in, but before she could make a formal debut and claim her birthright, the parish caught the Torment and were killed by a panicking mob.

Ida managed to escape with the help of one of her uncle's maids, and wandered throughout Eden's bar scene before settling in Redholme for a time. After a few years working in a saloon catering to bored businessmen, Ida heard that she might be able to receive a claim to her birthright in Tor.

Briefly write an in-character response to the following scenario:
Ida wasn't sure how long she had been standing in line. She had been shuffling about and doing minor stretches to keep herself in the zone.

She thought about the Bhaskarian Saloon that she worked at back in Redholme, and how on her last day of work, her boss had given her a parting gift. Unfortunately, Ida had to send it ahead by train, before hopping on another train herself.

Ida put her hands on her hips, standing up tall. Soon, it was her turn. She put on a winning smile as she walked up to the officiant.

"Hey there!" Ida exclaimed, as she put down a visa and a bottle of brew. "You look like you could use a drink."

Ida continued, "Bet manning the gate is thirsty work. Should I sweeten the deal with confits?"

Ida remembered the visa was supposedly from the Lyonesse branch in Redholme that sponsored the "legitimate" part of the bar. She hoped it would pass muster.
The possessor of this document has proven themselves as a professional entertainer as well as gourmet. They will be an indispensable part of ensuring the mental health of the reclamation effort in the First Province.

Signed on 30 Dewfall 1346.

- Hortensia Lyonesse of Redholme
