Recent History
Established during the Founding years of Republic, the Legion was prime directive was to be “Sword & Shield” of Republic army. Serving a different purpose from missionary Church Inquisitors or templars, the Legion accepts all good-handed fighting men aspiring for more, from citizenships after service or an escape from their past. To take up the Oaths of Legion will mean your re-birth into the arms of your new brothers & sisters in Legion.Many different Legion have taken the mandate of defending Tor, with recent notable mentions like Venerated Legion’s IVth Infantry Division that fought during Torian Civil Revolt, known as the Twelveth Hour War, during summer of 1341. The cost of that battle was high on all sides, but it led to the establishment of First Torian Council during the retreat of main Republic forces.
Organized under Cassius Dacian & Tiberius Falco, the First Torian Council called upon the remaining Legionary forces under banner of First Torian Legion. It was meant to be the new beginning for Tor citizens, The First Legion continued to hold the fragile peace within Tor as it bears witness to continuous threat like Ever-dark which shrouded the Province in darkness and also Resolvists themselves, whom attacked Tor.
Eventually even the sturdiest walls fell from within, as the story was told, a corrupted Legionnaire by name of Dontrell brought the Torment inside the walls and that dealt the final dagger into heart of the Republic city. With the chaos stirring around First Province, multiple squads of Legionnaires had scattered across the Province in small operations, awaiting the banner of First Torian Legion to be called upon once more.

Regulations
A Legionnaire is charged to not possess or consume alcohol whilst on duty, or whilst in uniform.A Legionnaire is charged to maintain his uniform in good and working condition at all times.
A Legionnaire is charged with following the chain of command, and will not ferment disrespect to his superiors.
A Legionnaire is charged with abiding by the laws of the Venerated Republic and shall not endeavor to enforce the laws beyond established protocol.
A Legionnaire is charged with dutifully executing the orders of his superiors to the best of his ability without question.
A Legionnaire is charged to not surrender of his own free will, and shall not surrender members under his command while they might still resist.
A Legionnaire is charged with the responsibility to fight against all enemies of the Venerated Republic, and should endeavor to do so to the fullest extent of his abilities.
