PLAYER QUESTIONS: By applying, you are signaling to staff you have read the application, character and shard rules.

Do you have any prior experience with Requiem? If so, please detail when (and what characters, if desired) you previously played:

This is a second character. I have been playing as Corin Vils for the past few weeks.

How did you hear about Requiem?

I had played briefly in 2009 and am returning as an Outlands refugee.

CHARACTER QUESTIONS

(Please note: Staff is looking for at least three lore references in your application when reviewing.)

What will your character’s name be?

Olya Dragomir

Please briefly describe the physical attributes of your character, including age, looks, height, weight and any notable features:

Olya is 18 or 19 years of age, she is unsure of the specifics of her birth. She stands a few inches above 5' and approximately 8 stone. She keeps a neat appearance when able, including maintaining tidy styles for her reddish hair. She is pale complected, with a faint scattering of freckles across her nose. Of demeanor, she is usually openly friendly, but capable of quickly pivoting to seriousness when needed.

Briefly state your character’s intentions or motivations for entering the First Province:

In a happenstance discovery, Olya, who previously believed herself an orphan learned she had a sister. Using her modest income, she paid, traded, and bartered information from travelers and merchants until she was able to pinpoint a likely location. Unfortunately, upon arrival, she learned that her would-be sister recently departed for the First Province. Wary of the uncivilized frontiers, yet still determined to know her kin, she petitioned and received a Writ of Passage through collection of a few well-placed favors.

Please provide a few short paragraphs with pertinent details or notable qualities of your character’s history. This does not have to be exhaustive nor revealing of any information you wish to keep secret:

Olya Dragomir was adopted by the Church as a toddler. The Torment had taken her family in Kaduraas leaving her orphaned. As she grew older, her fascinations and her fearlessness with the work of the Medicus lead to her being welcomed as an errand runner at the pest house. Later she would find herself assisting not just in matters of Torment, but in simple injury and small surgeries.

Despite her orphan origin, she found herself so inspired in her work that she developed very pleasant and curious demeanor. Over time, and as able help waned, she herself began some simple Allopathic training herself.

Please write a few short paragraphs of an in-character response to the following scenario:

She was steadfast in her determination, but once theory began becoming reality, her nerves had risen. She produced, from her satchel, the letter she had secured from Master Payne.

"By Order of the Legion, the holder of this letter shall be afforded luxury of movement uninhibited. Disregard of this Order shall constitute Capital Insubordination."

She was unable to read the large flourishing signature, and the wax seal next to it looked impressive. Luckily the agent DID recognize the signature and she was quickly moved through the line.

As she was ushered ahead, she recalled with a sort of sick glee, how she'd extorted Master Payne; the diary she'd stolen from his study was very detailed with his studies in diabolery and the Ill. She was not familiar enough to know if any of it was particularly incriminating, but the Master's reaction to her possession was enough to garner his pulling of the correct strings.

A small smirk blossomed on her face as she recalled, and she watched the clerks put together the appropriate stamps for her visa.
