Demoralization - critical effect

Post by CuteAndWhisk » July 4th, 2021, 11:47 am

Hi,

Unsure if bug or a suggestion, however, the Demoralization critical effect is lagging behind other critical effects due to the immunity to the rooting effects.
Demoralization works by tripping an enemy and blocking mana regeneration. The mana regen site of this critical effect is nice but useless in a melee vs melee fight - stamina or hp regen would be much favourable or a choice via [command).
However, the mana regen is not the issue here. Thus, please see the picture below.

In the course of a minute-long fight, the Demoralization tripping effect was completely removed from the fight; which is fair, too many rooting effects would make fights unbearable, but the tripping effect is the only useful effect for a warrior who does not wish to hunt mages.
Other critical effects do not experience such issues making them superior (there is no immunity to blind or hobble).

I suggest, therefore, to add hobble or blind effect to Demoralization (or random, which would somewhat fit the idea of hard-hitting maces and axes - those were not weapons of precision) during the rooting immunity.

Additionally, a tripped person can still hit back, heal and shoot arrows.

Thanks.
