Character Notes

This was a simple but effective system from another roleplay project that I spent years on.

You could write very concise character notes such as important factoids, current goals and progress towards said goals in just bulletpoints or a few paragraphs, that GMs can reference at will, on the fly. It was just private. You typed a few short things into the aether. It's entirely optional, and you never expect a GM to pick anything up, but it definitely happened, and it was always awesome.


For example, and it wasn't meant to replace in-depth legacy posts or journals, but you would put in your notes something like:

- Character is currently investigating X
- Has recruited X
- Plans to Y
- Hopes to Z

And if a GM opened your notes and was interested in anything, things evolved very organically.
