One handed Canes and Lanterns

As of right now, the canes and crutches that old men can use are a cool RP edition to the game. They are held in the main hand, yet slot to the center bottom slot. being the same slot that a hand held lantern would slot to. These canes are not rebindable. meaning they are stuck there. so YeOldenMan cannot walk with his cane whilst carrying a hand held lantern. They look good in the picture. Can we have the slot change to the Main hand though? Thanks.
