Sand Pockets

A large sand pocket takes 11 hits with a shovel to yield 6 sand units (plus unrefined salt with the related perk). However, the smaller pocket takes the same effort but yields half of that.

It makes sense for this system to follow suit on the rich stones for Geology, where larger stones take more pickaxe hits but also yield more stone at the end. If nothing else, both rely on the same Talent for extraction.

Good suggestion, I'm looking at the sand node entries and you're right - both take 11 hits and the yields are garbage.

I'll put these up against rich stone nodes and will be making some adjustments once I run it by team.

Thank you for the suggestion!

The small tree nodes work sort of the same way - it's almost not worth the effort to chop them with how many uses on a hatchet they take. With 100 horn you get like six logs.
