Do you have any prior experience with Requiem? If so, please detail when (and what characters, if desired) you previously played:
Yes for a short time. Character was Vernon Jayek(may he rest in piece.)

Briefly summarize your prior role-playing experience in a sentence or two:
A little bit of UORP, D&D, WoWrp, and several other RPGs.

Why do you wish to play on Requiem, and what do you expect from the shard?:
Would like to play for fun as previous UORP has been as such. Expecting it to have good rp.

What will your character’s name be?:
Delacroix H. Mercer

Please briefly describe the physical attributes of your character, including age, looks, height, weight and any notable features:

Del is a man of taller than average height at 6’3” with an athletic build. His face is disfigured by what seems to be leprosy. Weighing in at 183lbs he has an athletic build and is in his mid twenties.

Briefly state your character’s intentions or motivations for entering the First Province:

Seeking refuge from his past he is trying to enter the First Province and make a new name for himself.

Briefly provide a pertinent detail or notable quality of your character’s history (this does not have to be exhaustive nor revealing of any information you wish to keep secret):

Hailing from the Westlands he was born to a family of pagan shamans in a backwoods swampland. In his youth he watched warriors from his village come back from hunts with large and terrifying corpses of beasts in tow.
His teenage years were troubled as he developed violent thoughts and tendencies from his envy of the hunts and warriors alike. Almost always found fighting and savagely wounding other children from his village he soon found trouble greater than discipline. He was taken by the elders and his family who would perform paganistic magic upon him as punishment, only fueling his ever-growing fury.

Then, his late teens found him changing his future forever when he fought his final fight in that village, killing the elders and his family before fleeing and joining a band of warriors with their own righteous cause. All was well until a fateful battle left the warband shattered, only few remaining alive from the devastating conflict.

Briefly write an in-character response to the following scenario:
Upon arrival to the Rumbling Pass he scoured the line, in front, and behind him. The line was long and full of colorful figures, in this moment of respite he thought about his life and his future until he was interrupted. A rude and pompous man was pushing past the line with a party of guards at his side trying to get to the gate before the day’s end. Normally he would introduce himself to the man before tearing his head asunder but not today, today was a new day and a new goal.

“Next up!” the guardsman shouted.

He had finally gotten to the front of the line.

“Your papers, sir.” the guard routinely asked.

“Ain’t got none. How ‘bout this?” Del said, showing him a healthy pouch of coin.

“I’m hee’ t’ sell my serv'cs.” said Del, resting his hand on the pommel of his sword as he awaited the guardsmans response.
