Please briefly describe the physical attributes of your character, including age, looks, height, weight and any notable features:

Sebastian Ward is a man of few words, and an intense countenance. Raven black hair frames his scarred, brutal face. A face that only a mother could love, or perhaps anyone who liked beasts. His nose most certainly has been broken numerous times, and various scars litter his dark complexion, alluding to a lifetime of war. His sense of style serves more for function than it does fashion, and he carries himself with confidence. Yet, behind those dark eyes is a fire that burns intensely, setting aflame to whatever or whomever gets in his way. Metaphorically speaking, of course. Ward stands at a rather insignificant height, when compared to others from east, but what he doesn’t have in height is made up for in girth. He is not a slender man, and in no way does he move with grace or agility. His steps are slow, measured, and his strikes are powerful rather than precise. Starting at the left side of his face, along the jaw, a twisted pattern of the scars left behind by immolation indicate that this man has been through hell, yet still lives. Though a strong drink is never far from his hands, and his tongue is far from gentle. The most striking feature this man possesses is a metallic faceplate specifically designed to conceal the burns that ravage his jawline. His voice is coarse and cold, disturbing when it passes through the mask.

Sebastian Ward has only ever excelled at one thing; Killing. No longer in possession of a casus belli to hunt on the behalf of the Circle of Moorwick, he has decided to travel to the Eastern Baronies and find a new line of work.



Briefly provide a pertinent detail or notable quality of your character’s history (this does not have to be exhaustive nor revealing of any information you wish to keep secret):

Sebastian had once been a wealthy man, and one of political stature, at least for someone of his background. He had been endorsed by the Consortium in Moorwick as a bounty hunter, tracking down and collaring rogue magi. It is whispered that his burns were the result of a love-affair with a particularly powerful Ill-Sworn who discovered his true identity and attempted to kill him in his sleep. It is the only rumor he does not talk about, and heaven forbid someone remind him of it. Yet, with the destruction of the Circle, went any chance of Sebastian to continue his work in Moorwick, and instead, he turned his eyes back east, where the First Province loomed on the precipice.




Briefly write an in-character response to the following scenario:

Sebastian didn’t mince words. He approached the Officiant, shouldering his way through a crowd of unfortunate souls. A silver ouroboros ring dropped in front of the man. “I’ve come for more.. “ He says bluntly. “ Let me pass and I will share with you my spoils. “ A slight nod was given to the satchel at his side, there were a number of interesting items within, a bottle of port that he had pilfered in Raven’s Bridge, a few silvers he had won in Great Port in a game of chance, a steel bootknife that he had taken from a the ashen remains of a Legionnaire in a scorched field just southeast of the Goodsea, and some preserved spiced meats he had picked up in exchange for protection on the caravan he had arrived in, and of course, the dead mage’s ring which by itself told of Ward’s skill at the craft.
