Do you have any prior experience with Requiem? If so, please detail when (and what characters, if desired) you previously played:
no

Briefly summarize your prior role-playing experience in a sentence or two:
Ive played pathfinder on tabletop and mtg

Why do you wish to play on Requiem, and what do you expect from the shard?
I just want to have fun with others

What will your character’s name be?:
Gilbert Graeme

Please briefly describe the physical attributes of your character, including age, looks, height, weight and any notable features:
Gil is the definition of average in terms of physical features. It's like Decus had made a perfect image of the most common facial and structural features, deemed it extremely dull and then thrown some dirt and grease on it to add even a semblance of character and finishing with the faintest smidgen of heterochromia before losing interest and giving up. This has left Gil, a young man of 27 years, a creature that few cast a second glance on. To his merit, Gil has managed to distinguish his face by having his nose broken several times through his life, making his nose and his eyes of slightly different hazel tints his most defining features. With so little to work with, Gil seldom sees the point in managing his appearance, leaving his hair and facial hair dirty and greasy.
The look in his eyes is hungry and wanders a lot. He retains most of his dental equipment, but the majority of the losses are clearly visible in the absence of three lower front teeth. He has a slouching and unconvincing posture.

Briefly state your character’s intentions or motivations for entering the First Province:
Gil wishes to shake away his past life in Niunas and attain influence and power. For him the unsteady state of the province and the reclamation of Tor is an opportunity to turn from Gil the Gimp to Gilbert the Great.

Briefly provide a pertinent detail or notable quality of your character’s history (this does not have to be exhaustive nor revealing of any information you wish to keep secret):
Gil was born in Nemus in Niunas. His parents were Kaduraans who had made their living smuggling contraband through Antongrad to the Midlands and back before being exposed and fleeing to Niunas. As a child Gil started practicing the fine pastime activity of street gang membership, gaining important life and work experience that nearly matched those of the thugs of Greatport and steered his parents into hiring a mentor for Gil in hopes of securing him a better future than was to be expected in Nemus.
This mentor was a church scribe who had been forced into hiding for his opinions. The scribe noticed that despite Gil's absolutely average features, his intellect was keener than many of his peers, and Gil learnt to read and write while becoming increasingly fascinated by the scribe's tales of the eastern provinces. Some time after Gil had turned 20, the scribe got sick with fever. Because it seemed that the scribe would not survive, Gil saw little opportunity in remaining in Nemus. Figuring out that it was the only responsible thing to do, Gil stole as much small and light valuables and coin from his parent's residence, did the same in the scribe's house and headed east to seek his fortune in the eastern baronies.
Life on the road took Gil by surprise, and after spending more than six years on the road, learning to hide his cant and maturing a lot, he found himself at the Rumbling Pass.

Briefly write an in-character response to the following scenario:
It was evident to Gil upon first look that he had little chance of making it past the officiant. He had no official papers, no equipment to try forging them and he needed all the coin he had. Without wasting his time any further, he returned on the road, walked some miles away from the pass and then forked off the road to find the smugglers’ routes he had heard his father’s friends in Niunas talk about several times. The road would be longer and more dangerous, but it would be in his own terms, free of charge and safe from the eyes of the authorities.
