A Place to Call Our Own

It started as a tiny haven away from the Fort. Weeks of unrest... People getting attacked and dying on the street... Injustice that serve in the fort... It might be the tiny bastion of Republic but no peace was to be found.

Looking across the open landscape, there was plenty of room for expansion. A river runs closeby and the natural vegetation shielded the place from any watchful eyes.

"We first have to make sure the health of folks here and protocols are taken care of..." Vance remembered the promise during the Guild meeting. A Medical outpost is needed, with the huts nearby serving as a Quarantine are if needed.

Galryth, newly-hired Architecti of First Regiment, begun laying the foundations of the house. A man whom came searching for his father. His zest and vigor are admirable as he worked tirelessly.



Next was to ensure the safety this place. "We cannot hold what we cannot Protect.." . Jacques, the ever meticulous fellow, carefully measured each step around the place, making sure all designs fit into the overall grand scheme.



Day by day... Wall by wall...tile by tile... things were starting to fall into place. It wasnt by any pure luck, it was the effort of many folks whom shared the same vision as Vance.

Margaret... Gryhun... Ilyas... Raithe... Lux... Niamh...Logan... Amon...

Very soon the place will be completed and we can have a place we call home.

After weeks of hard work by many and co-ordinations made, the final palisade was lifted up into it place. The small Outpost has two houses, one for meeting and other for Medical purposes. An wide open area to the West side can be used for events and sparring sessions, with an open fire pit for admiring the night skies or cooking a good meal.

Things are falling into place as more and more folks joined the Regiment. Niamh, Ex-Abbess of Church in First Province, had joined the Regiment as a resident medic to supply the outpost with medicinal supplies and to see patients. Ontop of her duties, she played an important role in being the spirituality guidance to the Regiment.

For completion of the Outpost, day was celebrated with a lengthy sermon from Niamh and Rikard. Their words resonances with the gathered folks. We must not stray from the Eight as we find our "purpose".

The feast was delicious, prepared by Margaret and Lux, days before.



Gyrhun summed up the next plans for "Project Unity". To build a bridge across to Tenebrae, which will allow for easier access to resources and other communities on the other side. Mister Grant, the newly Quartermaster of Regiment, will be working closely with Architecti Prior Galryth on it.

Medical tent and support to the Refugee Camp to the West. Those are still decusian and republic folks that we will not turn a blind eye to. The shacks to the East of Outpost can be refurbished and used to house a fishing community for them to stand on their feet.

More expansion plans for the Outpost to house more buildings and other essentials for the community. Roads for easier access.
