Articles of War
I. et Lex Hæresis ex Magia
It is written, that should the Republic be made to suffer the presence of Witchkin, that these Hæreticus should be controlled by the Consortium and the Church itself. Whereby any who possess the affinity for, the potential, and the will, to act against the natural order, should be registered and numbered through local circles, and those circles should be accountable to an agent of the Holy Decusian Church. Failing this, the Witchkin is to be declared apostate, and cannot enjoy the protections of Decusian Law.
II. Malleus Maleficarum
In accordance with canonical law, and Decusian tradition, should a writ of Hæresis be issued against a citizen of the Republic, whether a member of the Consortium, or not, all protections are thus revoked. It is thereby decreed that any who should offer sanctuary, will fall under the authority of the Writs of Hæresis, and should be considered an enemy of the Church.
III. The One Truth
Walk ever in the Light of the Sacred Flame, transcending throne-born desires of your fellow man by dedicating your heart, mind, and soul to the faithful service of the One True God. Understand that you are His light in this world, and through deed, word, and unwavering service shall your hands bring grace and understanding to those that have fallen away from the One True God's grace.
IV. The Sacred Vigil
I. You shall believe in the sacred doctrine of the One True God.
II. You shall defend the Republic, the good name of the One True God, and the Holy Church.
III. You shall respect and defend the weak, the sick, and the helpless.
IV. You shall oppose the works of the Vade Mecum Atrocitas, Throne-Bearers, the Ill-Sworn, and the Hæresis.
V. You shall dutifully fulfill your oaths, should they not be contrary to the traditions and laws of the One True God.
VI. You shall remain faithfully observant of the Sacred Eight in all things.
VII. You shall seek no wealth, or material gain, unbecoming of the faithful.
VIII. You shall ever be a champion of the Sacred Eight.
