I have played in a few D&D campaigns for a few years now.

Why do you wish to play on Requiem, and what do you expect from the shard?
I am looking for an immersive experience and love UO.

Nayr Calamo

Please briefly describe the physical attributes of your character, including age, looks, height, weight and any notable features:
Nayr is a light skinned man in his mid thirties with golden brown, shoulder length hair and a thick moustache. He stands at roughly 6' and weighs around 210lbs with broad shoulders. Has piercing dark blues eyes with dark circles underneath.

Briefly state your character’s intentions or motivations for entering the First Province:
Nayr was awoken in the middle of the night by his panicked brother and he loyally followed him. Though, Nayr has questions, his late father made him promise to watch after and protect his feeble brother.

Briefly provide a pertinent detail or notable quality of your character’s history (this does not have to be exhaustive nor revealing of any information you wish to keep secret):
Nayr was raised by his merchant Father and lived with him and his brother, Sivart in the small lakeside town of Palgrove. There he learned to work the land and sell the family's goods and crafts. Typically the oldest son is drafted for war ,but since his brother Sivart wasn't exactly adept at combat, Nayr offered to go in his stead.

Briefly write an in-character response to the following scenario:
Nayr looks over to his brother and though on the outside Sivart seems calm, Nayr can tell something is a bit off. He stares inquisitively at Sivart as his brother hands over the quarantine visas to the officiant. His mind racing with questions for his brother, but he knows this is not the time for them and was assured all his questions will be answered once they've reached the First Province. He takes a few puffs from his corncob pipe as the officiant stares at their paperwork and back to them.
"We're merchants, just looking for a new start." Nayr stated. The officiant doesn't look up at all and continues to comb through the details of their paperwork. "We are both very skilled artisans." Says Nayr as he hands the officiant a golden red apple and nudges Sivart, who reluctantly reveals a potion bottle swirling with a bluish opaque liquid.

As he waits for the officiant's response his mind starts to wander back to why he was actually here. What did his brother know that he wasn't telling him and what happened to their town?

The officiant takes the papers from your brother, examining them over. He looks up from them a moment and sets his gaze upon your brother, seemingly unimpressed. "Ye look a bit meek ta be makin' dis venture, friend." You hear him say as swings his regard past your brother and onto you. "Though I 'pose ye had some 'elp. Merchants, eh? Sure, sure." His eyes snap back onto your brother before offering a wink and reaching out to grab the apple and potion. He raises the stamp high before bringing it down fast upon your visas and offering them back. "Flame guide ye less she find ye!" He exclaims, waving a hand to signaling you to continue.
