Kol has a weathered man's face, not attractive - plain at best. Beaten by ice and wind. His hands are heavily calloused with a firm and stocky build. He has a thick beard and very light hair and skin.


Briefly state your character’s intentions or motivations for entering the First Province:

Kol is looking for opportunity as he is now on the run. He's lured into the first province with false promises of a land of wealth and equality - only to find the truth quickly after.


Please provide a few short paragraphs with pertinent details or notable qualities of your character’s history. This does not have to be exhaustive nor revealing of any information you wish to keep secret:

Kol was a part of an expedition in attempt to recover the Muldr mine, it ended in extreme disaster.

Earned citizenship through service to the Inquisition, 3 years of service was as an Operator in Aleksandrov - specialty: Agriculture and Cooking.

Served several years after in an unknown role.

Became freelance opportunist when money ran tight, as the majority of Teramer is blacklands - he was unable to farm to support himself.



At the Rumbling Pass:


Several weeks prior to arriving at the rumbling pass, Kol looks at a small flyer and note given to him by a an old 'friend'. It explains the wealth and opportunity available in the first province. The note reads as follows:

'Kol, you need a place to go, and you might as well go to the best place in Vivateus - First province is ripe for the picking. Haven't heard of a single soul ever wanting to come back from that place. You're sealed in from all the danger and you will have all the protection you need. Might as well take this opportunity while it lasts - use your discharge paperwork and get a civilian visa. I know, Civilian again? Don't worry - it won't be long before you get the opportunity, you served in the Inquisition after all! You will probably make citizenship there before you know it. Might even get a set of servants with how well you set yourself up. Something else I hear? Prelacy isn't common there - all to yourself my boy. Just play nice, relax the jaw and get in. Kol walks up to the rumbling pass, after slowly getting off the train. Reaching into his bag he pulls out a wad of some type of soggy mess and puts it into his mouth as he chews it and spits on the ground. He sighs for a moment as he opens his bag and looks at his paperwork. Going over all of it as he grumbles and continues to spit on the ground.

'This place is a shit hole.' Kol said as he looks out at the commotion and disorganization that seemed all too familiar. 'I already hate it...'

Kol began to walk around, looking for a familiar face in the deep east, seeing no one he moves into a long line. Appearing to have some type of angered nervousness about him. Consistently rubbing his beard, he continues to grumble as he finally gets to the front of the line and looks up at the officiant.

'Kol - Former Inquisition, seeking entry into the quarantine zone.' He hands over proper documents of his discharge, service record and insignias to show who he is as he grinds the leafy material in his teeth, looking up at the man as he awaits his answer.
