How did you hear about Requiem?

From a friend, we were both looking for RP enforced MMOs to play.

What will your character’s name be?

Zvezda Voronova

Please briefly describe the physical attributes of your character, including age, looks, height, weight and any notable features:

28, Beautiful but angular, and cruel looking, her face fixed in a near permanent scowl. Light, almost white hair, skin, and eyes tinged with blue. Tall at around 6'0, 150lbs. Far less muscled and more willowy and lanky than her fellow Teramerians. No scars or pock marks can be seen across her skin.


Please provide a few short paragraphs with pertinent details or notable qualities of your character’s history. This does not have to be exhaustive nor revealing of any information you wish to keep secret:

Zvezda has been an outsider since her teen years in Teramer, for daring to ask.. why?
Hailing from Aleksandrov, as a youth she was absorbed in the same culture nearly all the children in Teramer are, the pursuit of physical perfection in service to the Church. However, when she was old enough to take to the field and battle the hordes of Torment herself, something changed.

Seeing her friends cut down by seemingly invincible, ever replenishing undead legions, she began to wonder.. Why? Why do we choose to meet these shambling monsters head on with axe and blade? Why do they keep getting back up? Surely there has to be a better way to combat this threat. And so Zvezda began to spend less and less time in pursuit of physical perfection, and more time in seeking a real education, studying the lands greatest foe, and dabbling in traps and explosives.


Briefly state your character’s intentions or motivations for entering the First Province:

Her predilection for learning and questioning her superiors earned her no love. She was slowly exiled from social circles as she continued down this line of inquiry, and so she set off to the First Province, where she might be able to study the enemy and develop and test new, unconventional ways to combat them free from the zealous hierarchy of the church.



Scenario Response:

Zvezda can hardly believe her eyes. She had seen teeming hordes of people, legions of military personnel, and was all too familiar with the crushing disappointment she could see ahead on the faces of those whose entry to the first province was denied.. but.

That train! The craftsmanship! The ingenuity that must've taken! The pure genius this behemoth of machinery signified.
As the crowd pushed her forward, she could scarcely look away.
"This is the kind of thinking we need." She said aloud, more to herself than to anyone else.
"Efficiency, grand and brutal and beautiful to behold, but we need it turned toward war. Toward the decimation of our foes." She continued manically, pulling a small notebook, pen and inkwell from her bag. As the crowd jostled her forward she dropped the ink well, the glass and its contents shattering and splaying about the ground beneath her feet.

"Ah.." she grimaced. "Well, it'll do." She said, quickly bending down and swiping her quill through the mess, before scribbling some half baked schematics into her notebook.

Before she knew it, it was her turn before the official and his repeating, condescending speech. It's a good thing she had heard it several tens of times on her way here, because when it was meant for her ears, she heard nothing at all.

"Well?" The official barked, irritated.

"Oh! Yes, right." Zvezda replied, her senses coming back to her. Setting down her quill and notebook, she reached for her bag and set them upon the desk before the official.

"You see sir..." She continued, pulling potions and all manner of mechanical prototypes from her bag as she did. "I have some.. ideas, about how to help cut down on our ill problem." She grinned, a hint of malicious glee shining in her eyes. "And I need to be far away from respectable citizenry in order to do that safely." She finished, setting the last gadget down before him.
