What will your character’s name be?

Bogomir Varga


Please briefly describe the physical attributes of your character, including age, looks, height, weight and any notable features:

Bogomir is a fairly tall man in his late twenties. He has a robust, muscular build and his hair and eyes are of a deep black color. Upon gazing at the man's face, of entirely average attractiveness, one could almost overlook the man if it weren't for a large burn mark on the left side of his face, pulling the corner of his lips up into a permanent smirk.
He speaks slowly, with a low and raspy voice and can commonly be seen with a hood obscuring his burnt face or a hat pulled low over his features.


Please provide a few short paragraphs with pertinent details or notable qualities of your character’s history. This does not have to be exhaustive nor revealing of any information you wish to keep secret:

Bogomir was born as one of the Varga family children, near Gaenthgrand, and was raised as a devout believer in his Father's views of the Decusian religion.
In the same way as his siblings, he was raised to see himself as soldier in the decusian faith, whose duty it is to fight heretics, throne worshippers and servants of the Ill and the Resolve.

His childhood was more or less happy, but he knew full well that once he reaches adulthood that Father will demand he goes out into the world and do his duty.
Being impatient he managed to convince Father to take him with along when the Vargas would be supplying the local inquisition chapter with goods.
Due to Father's good relations with the Inquisition the young man was taken into training at the young age of 16 and found himself almost at home with the fanatical elements of the local Inquisition.
Soon his training was complete and he started work as a postulant in the Inquisition, mainly doing dirty work for senior Inquisitors in the form of finding information, assisting in questioning suspected witchkin and the like.

Bogomir almost felt like he found a new home there until he was tasked with a special mission by his superior. The old man was well in his 60's, already with a limp which he blamed on an especially uncooperative witch, that made him fond of using the new recruits instead of his own feet. The mission involved in escorting a confirmed witchkin from the inquisition dungeons to the local prison for execution. Due to his naivety Bogomir was manipulated into being careless while on guard, allowing the young woman to escape.
This failure resulted in him being stripped of his rank in the inqisition, only avoiding being suspicion of being a witch friend by accepting a redemption mission to the first province. The old man informed him that the Warbishop moved a sizeable force of inquisitors to the province and informally asked loyal inquisitors to send him more manpower. As a devout decusian, Bogomir accepted immediately.


Briefly state your character’s intentions or motivations for entering the First Province:

After leaving the Varga homestead in Ghaenthgrand, at the instruction of Father, Bogomir joined the local inquisition chapter as a probationary postulant.
Due to personal failings he seeks to redeem himself in the first province.


Scenario Response:

"Next!", the words jolted Bogomir to attention in the line.

Preparing the reference letter and visa papers he received before setting off, he took a step forward speaking: "Decus' blessings sir! My name is Bogomir Varga and i seek passage to the first province. I would rather not bother an esteemed gentleman as yourself with the paltry details of my stay there, let us just say my aim in the province is ensure the safety of the faithful flock in the province. I am sure this reference letter will clear any doubts you might be having."

Bogomir puts the visa and letter on the table in front of the officiant, taking special care to casually place the inquisition seal clearly in sight of the officiant. After placing them both on the table he takes a small step back, looking at the man for his reaction.
