Why do you wish to play on Requiem, and what do you expect from the shard?
Requiem is the best roleplay environment I have experienced and I enjoy it immensely. I expect interesting things to happen with the story!

Please briefly describe the physical attributes of your character, including age, looks, height, weight and notable features:
Short, brown hair and an unkempt beard frame his stoic face. His age is difficult to assess due to the clash between his strong, youthful gait and his somber, wisened countenance. He is slightly tall and has a well-defined physique, but not overly muscular. Notably, he lacks any major scars, tattoos, or piercings, unlike most people travelling through the First Province.
Judging by the way he talks and the quality of his soft, deep voice, one might guess that he is a good singer. He has a very practiced voice and manner of speech. His verbal and vocal mastery of the Decusian language makes him easy to listen to and understand. Those that study holy scriptures and ancient texts might also notice that his manner of speaking is somehow and at once familiar and peculiar.
His eyes have an enchanting twinkle.

Briefly state your character’s intentions for entering the First Province:
Having experienced loss of family and friends as a child, he has a sober outlook on life. His otherwise serious demeanor is sparked upon mention of his greatest fear and his greatest enemy: The Torment. He seeks the truth about The Torment, and he believes that somewhere in the First Province is contained a key that would unlock the power to bring an end to these dark times.
Briefly provide the pertinent details of your character’s history:
Like many people his age, he lost most of his family and friends to the deadly plague. At a young age, he escaped his plague-struck hometown near Lake Thunn in the eastern province of Athaerûn. Travelling with various caravans, he learned an assortment of skills and made himself useful to those around him. He spent most of his adult life providing goods and services to people from all walks of life. More recently, he has volunteered as a laborer for the Foundry. In return for several months of work, his foreman offered him a Foundry Quarantine Visa to allow access to the First Province.
Briefly write an in-character response to the following scenario:
He approaches the officiant and calmly produces the Foundry Quarantine Visa from his coat pocket. Handing the document to the officiant, he states his name and his wish to be granted access to the First Province to aid the Foundry, the Legion, and the Republic. He then waits for a response.
