RETURNING BETA PLAYER CHARACTER

Do you have any prior experience with Requiem? If so, please detail when and what characters you previously played:

Anavel Gato.
Man of the cloth since Act 1.

Silas Blake.
Warrant Officer of the Foundry. Act 5.

Septimus or Augustus Junii (Forgot which one I was).
Act 1-2 . Scion of the Junii family. Proud Soldier.

Briefly summarize your prior role-playing experience:

I have been playing PnP for 20+ years now. Ultima since the release and on tons of RP shards.

Why do you wish to play on Requiem, and what do you expect from the shard?

I wish to play on Requiem because I have been part of Requiem for such a long time now.
And I expect Requiem to be as always.

What will your character’s name be?:

Anavel Gato

Please briefly describe the physical attributes of your character, including age, looks, height, weight and notable features:

The most telling feature of Anavel Gato is his skin colour. It is of a pale white unlike nearly everyone else. Very few can remember his youth and if it has always been so. He has long white hair which is often tied to a tress and is well kept for. He never shows any beard. He has ice blue eyes that if you look into is filled with a zeal for something and sports high check bones. The age is somewhat difficult to define with how his skin looks like but he has been fighting for the faith since the End of the World and the loss of it later one would surmise he is somewhere in the forties maybe even into the early fifties. He is of average weight and maybe slightly above average height.

Briefly state your character’s intentions for entering the First Province:

He has been in the First Province ever since the End of the World fell. But if he needed a reason it would be to fight for the faith and restore the order back to the province that was lost.

Briefly provide the pertinent details of your character’s history:

So much can be said about Anavel Gato. So many rumours may float around in the light and darkness of him. He witnessed things that many that have see have perished and few are still around to speak about it. Yet mist shrouds his earliest parts as knowledge had been lost from whence and when he came.
He was there when the End of the World fell to darkness. When Paradise was lost to the Resolve Reaver and their dark magic. He was there when the Republic gave up on their last dream far away from home. He walked through the blight that was left behind in Bhaskar and nearly perished to the torment at that time. And as a faithful he would have perished in the mid of the heathen Bhaskarians to bring judgement to them. Yet it was only the first of many times he fought off the Torment. Yet even in the darkest times his white robes shined brightly showing a way. But the Templar Expedition so long ago was given up and he returned to Tor.
Oh the mighty Tor. Strong the walls stood against the heathens and the ever encroaching darkness. Yet in the end the walls is what doomed it. Having learnt nothing the magi of the consortium lost their place to the torment leaving a place to rot in the center of the stronghold. He was there when it fell. He tried his best to stop the flow of evil that spread like a cancer through the night screaming in anger. Yet in the end he had to depart as one of the last to leave the accursed city Tor has turned into. Often Anavel was described as a cold callous man but even he was moved by the last glance he took of Tor before he left it through a certain apparatus in the Consortium District.

In the end though what is Anavel Gato. He often styled himself a Padre. A priest that wielded the divine words to combat the darkness. Even now in times that what he is is ill-reputed because of fear or ignorance he walks his path he has chosen so long ago when he had knelt in the ashes of Subdoh and experienced what darkness does to the world if it triumphs.

Briefly write an in-character response to the following scenario:

Anavel steps up to officiant that is blocking the path into the first province. Most of his body and skin is hidden under a layer of white robes and a red sash. The hood is pulled over the head barely revealing anything of the face. With a meticulous motion he removes his black gloves revealing a pair of pale white hands. He tucks away the gloves and pulls out a pair of scrolls. One is a Quarantine Visa that has started to fade away bearing the seals of not only the Clergy but another that has not seen use for quite some time. The seal of an Expeditionary Templar. There also seems to be a hint that there is a third seal but in the twilight of the morning it is not spotted.
The second one is a small note bearing the seal of the Venerated Council that the person showing this was not seen.

After a moment, in which the Officiant was thrown off, he nods towards the white robed person and motions for him to step through.
