Still a very reasonable amount of RP experience. I managed to squeeze in some NWN rpg and tabletop games between the last time I played here and now.
Why do you wish to play on Requiem, and what do you expect from the shard?:
I enjoy the community and the general feel of the shard. It is likely Jacques will support others’ stories from the sidelines.

Jacques Sacasa (real name: Horta)
Please briefly describe the physical attributes of your character, including age, looks, height, weight and notable features:
A tall, dark man who was originally a lanky youth before a crafting habit ruined his lithe physique with muscle. Usually bald. Has brown eyes.
Briefly state your character’s intentions for entering the First Province:
Jacques entered the First Province in order to understand the ambitions of her Apothecary mentor, whose name and pass he stole in order to get in.
Briefly provide the pertinent details of your character’s history:
- Apprenticed in a shop which dealt in herbal remedies.
- Did odd jobs from cultivation to hauling to sometimes standing behind the counter.
- Accompanied his mentor to the First Province before they got assaulted on the road. Explosive alchemy may have been involved with his survival.
- Worked as a handyman-quartermaster for the Devals in the First Province.
- Briefly dabbled in medicine before focusing on supplying other doctors.

A weary and lanky youth looked at the officiant. In his hand, he held a singed visa. Apothecary Sacasa, the paper insisted. The officiant who let him in told him to seek out the Devals, and left the status implied in the slip up to them.
