Cultivating Tumeric Issues

Tumeric seems to die within the first 30 minutes of growing despite having 100% Water / 100% Fertilizer.

Related TUMERIC issue ..... when harvesting by horticulture I get a successful message like *remives tumeric roots* the plant disappears but no roots show up in my pack ...... someone told me the plant changes form and to keep harvesting but I didn’t find the second form ...... I will try again when I find another plant.

Also worth noting, it seems there are two graphics for Tumeric/Turmeric. One being the elephant ear plant graphic, the other being blade plant graphic. The latter of the two is spelled TUMERIC while the former is TURMERIC.
Turmeric seed didn't last 24 hours in backpack after logging out then back in the next day.
