The Keepers of Balance

A small number of black feathers, presumably having belonged to a raven, are found dangling from slender strands of mismatched threads around Fort Praesidium. Here and there, an inky black hand is left smeared across a surface. One might come to the conclusion that these markings create a form of boundary. Small notes are seen scrawled in a poorly designed script that looks like it has been done by several different authors.

As a blade in the night,

Or a tendril of flame in the heart,

Blinded by zealotry and faith,

Know this,

Your reign of terror has ended in this land.
