I do get it. Throwing is an ammo-free one-handed option, but man... even if it was meant to be a support skill, it can't offer much support.
My alt with 30 fencing, 50 tactics and high stats... could beat the Basilisk in the sewers in under a minute with a sabre.
My thrower with 90 throwing and 80 tactics, took nearly 20 minutes to kill the basilisk, even after it finally fled and the throwing was being done at the 5-7 tile optimal range for the last 5 minutes. It maybe hit 10% of the time.
Can the chance to hit please be looked at? Maybe decrease the overthrow or underthrow penalties a wee bit?

Can you provide the stats of your character, as well as the quality / specs / type of weapons used?

Perhaps perception comes into play for throwing weapons.

At some 40 throwing, I noticed that, sometimes, my character just would not throw. The boomerang seemed to work, mostly, but any other throwing item (chakram, as example) sometimes just would do nothing. I stand close, I stand far, I stand in between distance, it doesn't matter. Just... no throwing.
