Nobody seeks to obstruct the stealthy actions of the messenger. The once heavily guarded wooden walls of Pyreholme now stand unwatched. The numerous zealous watchmen that were rather known for their hostility towards outsiders no longer man their posts. Someone taking a moment to peek through the portcullis could witness something even more perplexing; the yard once bustling with life now seems void of all Faithful, however the tools, belongings and other signs of work that used to take place here all remain in their places. The signs of abandonment look too unsettling even for a hasty evacuation; it is as if everyone had simply vanished in the blink of an eye and completely left behind what they were doing.
Pyreholme stands eerily quiet for a settlement of its size. It is hard to know if the message will reach anyone in what almost seems like a ghost town.
