Because of amount of skill uses needed to harvest in geology, the skill patches are decreasing way too fast in my opinion. It's like 3-4% in around an hour of mining.

Agreed, I had to raise my raw geology skill and stop using skill clothing for the time being

Sweet Decus, thank you for bringing this up. These patches get chewed through so fast because of how many actions it takes before you break something down and get ore. I recently dropped half of my mining to up another harvesting skill and boy was -that- a mistake. These drop down in a matter of minutes when being used, it could use some adjusting.
