The note is titled: "Seeking the owner of a golden colored mask"
The Crimson Syndicate has located a certain fenced item. We are looking for the owner of this mask.
You can understand that the Crimson Syndicate had to go to some great lengths to acquire such an item once we were aware it was for sale. It was not an easy undertaking to acquire the item, so one can understand that the price to return this item to it's owner comes at a cost.
