Character: Markos the Mad

He his looking for the root of all evil's power so he can consume the power of eternity.

Markos never had any home, he always moved from place to place with his father Petrus and only has vague recollections of his mother. His father told him that she left to be with a rich merchant.
Markos was taken care of like a dog being mistreated. He grew up hating his father but needing him. Having no sense of self-worth and being filled with anger, he would sometimes take that out on animals.
His childhood can be resumed to that; moving around all the time, getting in trouble and escaping the law.

He grew up to believe as his father that common people are sheeps and people in power are parasites. He doesn't have any empathy for other people being self-centered solely focusing on his survival. People are tools to him. His relation with women is also very problematic, he feels a blend rage and desire towards them. He never had consual sex, only paid for it. The poor women he mistreated more than once.

Clearly, Markos is not well. Up to but a few months back, he was living the life of a vagrant all over the Baronies and the Midlands with his father. Surviving on scraps, hunting, lying and stealing. A few months back, his father was killed by a guard while they were fleeing from a theft gone bad. Maybe he had something to do with it, he's not sure... The bastard always keeped the best things to himself. Now he has his boots. Ha!

Markos his in his early 20s, is of small height and is frankly ugly. His hygiene is very bad and his manners worst. He talks ill about authorities and the Decusian church way too often then he should. He has many delirious notions and is prone to violence. It is a wonder he is still alive.
He has an unholy fascination for the Torment, the warlock and witches that has supposedly brought it. He loves chaos and venerates it.
Markos is often seen mumbling to himself and cursing which can be very unsettling. He his now convinced he was deprived of his mother when is father decided to eat her for a reason has not fathomed yet. Markos seeks the power to bring back the mother he never knew.
This is indeed crazy.

To prepare entry in the First province, he stole and scrounged up money to pay for a counterfeit visa pretenting that he was to go work for the Inquisition's stables. He stole a few nice clothes and washed himself before presenting himself at the guard.

“State your business and make it quick, citizen; we’ve enough bodies in there to keep us busy for years without adding yours to the pile, and those VIC are stirring up problems something fierce as of late”, said the guard.

Markos tried to look as submissive and meek as he could. He handed the visa to the guard while looking at the ground.
In a timid voice he added: 'I come to serve Decus in my modest way. May he decide if I am worthy'.

This charade his difficult for Markos, he has urges to spit and yell at this stupid monkey pawn of the powers. But he keeps it bottled, only a few more moments of control should do it he tells himself. Waiting for the guards answer, he plays with his hands, clearly struggling for control. His eyes starts darting left and right.

'the Mad' would be considered a nickname, which we do not allow for characters to have as their name. You can name your character "Markos" and then introduce yourself as "Markos the Mad" if you wish. Just for the actual character name it would have to be "Markos" and can have a last name too if he has one.

Going to need a bit more out of your backstory and roleplay response before accepting your application. Please edit your post and expand on them a bit.

You want a better role-play response from the interaction with the guard? I have a plenty of ideas of about how to play the character as I've been a mental health worker for last 20 years!
