Felicite Stonehaven

Please briefly describe the physical attributes of your character, including age, looks, height, weight and any notable features:

Félicité embodies a confident and bold demeanor. Being rather plain looking by nature, she takes great pains to accentuate her beauty through cosmetics and style. At 26 years old, she stands at tall 6’0 and weighs in at a waifish 140lbs. She typically wears her crimson locks long and loose about her shoulders. She carries herself with poise, unafraid to express her opinions and showcase her individuality.

Briefly state your character’s intentions or motivations for entering the First Province:

Having discovered the difficulty of breaking into the fashion industry in Redholme, currently dominated by ruthless prelacy who will not tolerate competition from a penniless upstart, Felicite has decided to pack up shop and what little belongings she has, and attempt to make a new life for herself in the ruins of the First Province, under the assumption that life is too difficult there for others to spend time trying to dismantle her business and besmirch her good name for the crime of an honest days work.

Please provide a few short paragraphs with pertinent details or notable qualities of your character’s history. This does not have to be exhaustive nor revealing of any information you wish to keep secret:

A young and ambitious fashionista, Félicité hails from the bustling city of Redholme. Despite her modest upbringing in a disadvantaged neighborhood, she possesses an unwavering passion for fashion. Growing up in the shadows of the industrial machine shops and factories, she developed a keen eye for style and a flair for creativity, taking inspiration from the vivid colours and tones of the Rustwood. Félicité dreams of transforming the world of fashion with her unique designs.

Félicité embodies a confident and bold demeanor. Being rather plain looking by nature, she takes great pains to accentuate her beauty through cosmetics and style. She is tall and waifish, typically wearing her crimson locks long and loose about her shoulders. She carries herself with poise, unafraid to express her opinions and showcase her individuality. She possesses a sharp wit and a sharper tongue, often using sarcasm as her armor in the face of adversity. Beneath her sassy exterior, however, lies a heart of gold. Her kindness and empathy shine through in her interactions with others, as she genuinely cares about their well-being and happiness.

Félicité has a distinctive sense of style, showcasing her creativity and unique fashion sense through her personal attire. She experiments with bold patterns, unconventional combinations, and unexpected accessories, making her stand out in a crowd. Her clothes may be a mix of repurposed fabrics, vintage pieces, and her own creations, reflecting her resourcefulness and ability to create beauty out of limited resources.

Though born into a humble family, Félicité's love for fashion began at a young age. Despite limited resources, she used her creativity to repurpose old clothes and create unique outfits for herself. Her talent did not go unnoticed, as friends and neighbors began requesting her designs. Encouraged by the positive feedback, Félicité honed her skills, teaching herself pattern-making, sewing, and leatherwork.

In a city overshadowed by the influence of the wealthy Prelacy families, Félicité faced countless rejections and judgment from the established fashion industry. Though she often struggled to secure the raw materials needed for her craft, she remained determined to forge her own path and become a self-made fashionista.
Her reputation grew as her designs caught the attention of women from all walks of life. She not only created stunning evening gowns and elegant dresses but also tailored custom leather armor for those seeking a combination of style and protection. Her work became known for its intricate craftsmanship, blending feminine elegance with edgy and dangerous elements.

Félicité's resourcefulness is what sets her apart in the fashion world. She gathers her own materials, scouring the city's markets and even venturing into the outskirts to find unique fabrics, trinkets, and leather hides. Her specialty lies in creating both elegant ladies' fashion and functional leather armor, combining beauty with practicality. Her designs often feature intricate details, bold colors, and unexpected combinations, reflecting her fearless approach to fashion.
Driven by her dreams and her desire to empower women through fashion, Félicité seeks to challenge the status quo and redefine beauty standards. She believes that fashion is not just about appearance but also a means of self-expression and empowerment.

With her confident and bold personality, Félicité fearlessly embraces her role as a trailblazer in the fashion world. She dreams of someday establishing her own boutique, where she can create and showcase her unique designs, catering to women who share her vision of fashion as a form of self-empowerment.

Please write a few short paragraphs of an in-character response to the following scenario:

Arriving in the trainyard and taking in the scene before her, the dozens of armed guards and scores of unwashed hopeful migrants, the technological wonder that brought her here seems out of place in the gargantuan outpost. Her bear of a husband, Bendros Stonehaven(app pending), struggled to keep up with her while carrying their lives with them, relying on her shocking crimson hair and above average stature to keep track of her.
As she listened to the whispers of fellow citizens around her, discussing the safety of the rail route compared to the perilous tunnels, Félicité couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity and apprehension. Clearly she wasn’t the only one who thought of starting up a business in the quarantined zone.

The officiant at the outer gates drew her attention, as she observed the selective process of allowing people through. Some slipped pieces of gold, while others presented official-looking paperwork or made heartfelt pleas. The well-rehearsed speech of the officiant echoed in her ears, emphasizing the need for a Quarantine Visa issued by recognized Factions of the Republic.

Stepping forward with confidence, Félicité faced the officiant, her voice laced with a hint of sarcasm. "Ah, dear officiant, how fortunate I am to find you here. I stand before you, Félicité, a passionate fashionista from Redholme. She presents some official Visa papers, recently acquired along with a threatening “Get out out town or else” letter from her Prelacy competitors at home. As she laid them down, Bendros set her many bags at the officials feet.

“I’ll see you soon.” He said, waving and turning to walk to the back of the line.

“Yes, you will!” She called after him, blowing a kiss to his back with a smacking of her lips.

She paused, letting her words sink in before continuing. "My designs are not just garments; they are expressions of individuality and empowerment. I seek to inspire and uplift those who have been stifled by the rugged life beyond society and bring a touch of civility and style to the people of the first province.

She finished speaking and locked eyes with the officiant, her gaze unwavering.
