CHARACTER QUESTIONS
(Please note: Staff is looking for at least three lore references in your application when reviewing.)

What will your character’s name be?

Sharista

Please briefly describe the physical attributes of your character, including age, looks, height, weight and any notable features:

Sharista is 24 years of age, 5'7" tall and weights 132 lbs. She has thick auburn colored hair with a feathered wedge haircut. Faint fragrances of many different herbs clasps to her smooth sun-kissed pale skin and clothes.

Please provide a few short paragraphs with pertinent details or notable qualities of your character’s history. This does not have to be exhaustive nor revealing of any information you wish to keep secret:

Sharista was born into an ill-fated family of farmers at the outskirts of Redholme, she left them at an early age to become an alchemy apprentice within the Capital. The apprenticeship didn't turn out well. Her Master, Cato De'Varcil, of fair repute within the ranks of the Apothecary Corps, had high demands and expectations of Sharista, which he believed she didn't fullfill.

After a couple of years of tutoring Sharista the Master had enough as he suspected and accused her of stealing reagents and potions from his stock. She wasn't punished by law, because there were no conclusive evidence of any wrongdoings from her side, but nontheless the Master had the right to prematurely end her apprenticeship and removed her from his workshop.

Sharista found her way to the lower districts of Redholme, a place where there were indeed some people who did appreciate what she had to offer. There she would stay and thrive amongst her friends, competitors and enemies. For a while.

Briefly state your character’s intentions or motivations for entering the First Province:

With her savings running low by the merciless competition in Redholme, and loans from unsavory folks piling up, Sharista realized her time in the Capital was over.

News and rumours of recent occurrences in the First Province had circulated within the Capital walls quite fiercly lately. People said there were some kind of resurgence happening. More folks than ever, from all walks of life, had taken the decision to find their fortune on the other side of the mountain.

This had peaked Sharista's interest and ignited the kindle of inspiration within the spirit of the city-born Easterner. She knew her next destination.

Scenario response:

As the line grows thinner Sharista opens her weathered backpack and carefully pulls out her visa. Her eyes jumps from the wax seal of the Venerated Corps and finally lands on the beautiful handwritten signature; "Lieutenant Provost Cato De'Varcil". She faintly smiles as she looks at her old Master's name. This piece of paper had cost most of her savings, but it was a good counterfeit.

As she glances up from the paper her eyes meets the officiant. She's next in line.

Sharista's eyes widens as she listens to the officiant's long-winded speech, but when he's finally done she speaks with a gently voice. "You look stressed. I can see you haven't had a well-earned rest for quite some time."

She quickly pulls out a small red potion from her belt and slides it on the table towards him and continues. "Take this before bedtime. You'll sleep well and feel alleviated in the morning, no matter if there's two or two dozen VIC's causing a ruckus."

She gives him a reassuring smile as she afterwards presents him her visa.
