I am looking forward to enjoying some quality RP in this dangerous setting.

Briefly state your character’s intentions or motivations for entering the First Province:

Being a renowned "monster hunter", Krzysztof decided to seek fortune in the current capital of monsters: Tor. This is partially adventure seeking, partially a good-willing action towards reclamation of the province and partially seeking stronger targets to hunt.

Briefly provide a pertinent detail or notable quality of your character’s history (this does not have to be exhaustive nor revealing of any information you wish to keep secret):

Being originally born in the Collatia and joining up early with the legion there, Krzysztof rarely had a dull moment.

Eventually, somehow managing to survive a legionnaire's life for several years, he deserted and became a mercenary, while travelling slowly to the East. There, he found relatively more peace.

It turned out, peace wasn't what Krzysztof's heart was after, and soon, he became selling his skills to more and more dangerous contracts. Fighting malevolent pagan mages, capturing a demon-like creature near Kedian, a hunt for an albino kraken and its white ink in the Pearl Sea - he did it all. Now he is hoping to make coin, name and good, by entering the First Province and offering his services to honest paying folk there.


Briefly write an in-character response to the following scenario:

Having no affiliations with the Republic factions may mean no entrance to most, however once Krzysztof sets his mind unto something, he usually achieves it.

So it was in entering the First Province.

Krzysztof had found work in a village right next to the entrance to the Rumbling Pass. The job is relatively simple, although dangerous - destroy several walking trees (or humanoid creatures made of wood, whatever they are!) in a forest nearby. Watching the tree-creatures from afar, calculated their speed against his own, and acted in such way:

From afar, he started shouting to the trees. The trees, as the locals told Krzysztof already, were aggressive. They began charging at him and he ran towards the entrance to the pass. Close to the entrance, he jumped over a huge campire, which caused the trees to lose visibility of Krzysztof and instead attack the nearest guards of the entrance.

Alarm bells were screaming and more fire was used to combat the walking trees. Both factors, together with panic, created the expected situation where Krzysztof could climb unto the officiant's building and running to the other side, escape into the First Province unseen.
