Description of Ability


Few citizens within the Republic have seen a firearm in person, let alone have fired one. You, however, are even a rarer breed. Drawing from inspirations from traditional Bhaskarian fireworks and noise-makers as well as mercenaries from the Western Territories, you have learned the methods and means to create ammunition that explodes in violent, immolating flames, leaving your enemies charred and desecrated. Special Weapon Move. Incendiary Shot attempts to hit the target with a specially loaded round of ammunition designed to immolate the target. Incendiary Shot deals 50% normal combat damage, however will set the target ablaze for 10 seconds. While ablaze, the target will incur Corporeal damage equal to ( Firearms Skill / 3 ) + 5, and will suffer from a spell interruption debuff for ( Firearms Skill / 40 ) seconds. Incendiary Shot will also explode upon impact in burning embers which fall to the ground around the target lasting ( Firearms Skill / 10 or 5.0, whichever is greater) seconds, dealing 1 to (Firearms Skill / 10) damage per second to any enemies standing upon it. Utilization of such exotic ammunition results in a 5% chance of a critical weapon failure (jam, misfire or backfire), regardless of whatever perks the character may have to lower failure chance.
